Exclusive Webinar: An Informative Webinar on Lab Skills with Hands-On Training by Agilent Technologies

On 7 June 2023, PharmaShots conducted a free webinar on “Level up your Lab Skills” in association with Agilent University and Agilent Technologies.

We were fortunate to have Preethi Warrier (Application Engineer - Solution Support) at Agilent Technologies and Aparna Gupta (Account Manager - Service and Sales Division) as our keynote speakers alongside with Ankush Sharma (Regional Marketing Program Manager – Service & Enterprise Channel) at Agilent Technologies.

The webinar kicked off with speakers sharing their extensive knowledge and experience.

Preethi started the session by talking about the need for education and its benefits. She told how the companies are facing several challenges including high staff turnover, hiring lower-skilled employees, low instrument throughput, etc. However, they can benefit by accessing a comprehensive curriculum of training options that can be delivered onsite, in a classroom, or online. Agilent University provides customized courses to address specific workflow needs. These courses are taught at dedicated training sites with fully equipped classrooms and laboratories in more than 50 locations around the world. Or, if you prefer, you can request a training course delivered to your site by an Agilent expert.

Aparna took over the session by talking about user segmentation and the wide range of courses by Agilent University. She provided guidance on how one can identify the right course. She said that the university provides more than 400 self-paced online courses, from beginner technique to mastering applications including enhanced cloud lab courses with virtual interactive exercises, and how Agilent’s e-pass service can provide benefits to the people enrolling for the training.

The session was concluded with an interactive Q&A session. The session covered a wide range of topics and provided valuable insights tailored to the specific needs of our audience. Then after, the increase in the engagement of the audience, a poll was launched to get their opinions.
